Administrative Committee Minutes 1919-1932 ; 1956.

This series consists of typewritten minutes from meetings of the Administrative Committee of the WMS/ULCW. It appears the minutes for 1919-1932 were at one time in notebooks. They are loose leaf in this series. There is one bound volume for 1956 containing minutes for both the Administrative Committee and Executive Board. There are no records in this series for 1933-1955. Those records are found in ULCA 29/4/3 Administrative and Executive Committee Minutes, 1932-1962. A complete set of bound copies of Administrative Committee minutes from 1933-1962 is found in that series. It is not clear from the records whether the Administrative Committee met at regular intervals. It appears that some years it met as many as five times and other years as little as two. Generally, the minutes in this series consist of authorizations for payments and actions taken regarding appropriation of funds for particular programs, projects, or administrative expenses. Some minutes contain much the same kind of information given at Executive Board meetings, such as officers' reports, staff reports, and committee and division reports. It appears this can be accounted for by the fact there were times the Administrative Committee was meeting when the Executive Board was not and therefore was considering business needing prompt attention. The records are arranged chronologically.
